What Atlas does now.

These are implemented product surfaces. Provider availability, credentials, freshness, and license policy still determine which individual layers can answer.

World signals

Aircraft, vessels, satellites, earthquakes, weather, transit, fires, infrastructure, cameras, traffic, radio, and launch data—subject to source availability and policy.

Environmental intelligence

NOAA and NWS alert polygons, regional MRMS radar, a global weather-satellite mosaic, earthquakes, and bounded fire detections.

Event Lens

Correlates normalized events with nearby live and reference layers while keeping source, time, and freshness state visible.

Local workspaces

Save and restore map state, layer selections, camera position, annotations, and shareable view state in the current browser.

SIGNAL FAMILIES

One globe. Multiple public contexts.

Atlas keeps each provider and layer distinct instead of flattening everything into an unexplained map marker.

BETA BOUNDARIES

What the release does not imply.

Atlas is an active authenticated beta, not a hardened multi-tenant operations platform.

Source availability varies.Credentials, quotas, provider outages, geography, and license policy can block or reduce a layer.
Paid routes are controlled.Cost-bearing capabilities are not treated as unrestricted public endpoints.
No named-person tracking.Atlas models public events, assets, infrastructure, and systems—not face recognition or individual surveillance.
Local workspaces are device-local.Current workspace saving uses the browser; account-backed collaboration remains future work.

Built from an MIT-licensed spatial foundation.

Tracernet Atlas is derived from Bilawal Sidhu’s God’s Eye View project. The fork preserves attribution and upstream-compatible internal contracts while adding Tracernet product and deployment boundaries.
